Today I got some really good news!! I stumbled into the opportunity to design the poster for the Mayfest Art Fair here in Lexington this year! I got confirmation today and began painting the design for it. Below is a little snippet of it. It's just a little bite, because I want to do the "reveal" once it's completely done. I'm so excited to have been in the right place at the right time to be offered this project! I'll now have a booth at the festival as part of my compensation, too!! Sooooo...If you're looking for a reason to come to Lexington's 20th Annual Mayfest Arts Fair, here it is!!! That's where I will be May 10 & 11th!!
And in other news...My painting "Heritage", the church-turned-antiques-store, has been accepted into the Art Movement Gallery! Soon it will have a temporary home in some fabulous local business, and hopefully will find it's new forever home with someone who loves it as much as I do. :)
